DescriptionThe OpportunityDowner's Energy & Utilities business is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Water team to deliver a complex infrastructure Water and Wastewater project based in Mango Hill.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of complex water infrastructure projects, ensuring solid outcomes across safety, quality, time and cost.
The role will oversee projects from design and construction through to commissioning and handover, while leading project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholder relationships.
You will work closely with clients, delivery partners and internal teams to drive a team-oriented, high-performing environment and ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:Lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects across design, construction, commissioning and handover.
Manage project budgets, schedules, cost performance, forecasting and reporting.
Provide strong safety leadership and ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are effectively implemented.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, progress claims, variations and commercial performance.
Build strong relationships across clients, stakeholders, design teams and delivery partners.
Lead, develop and support project teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve construction methodologies and project outcomesWhat we are looking for A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualificationProject Management certification at Certificate IV level or higher10+ years' complex project management experience within the water and wastewater sectorExperience delivering large-scale design and construct treatment plant projects,
