Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Project Engineer - Roads to lead engineering delivery of road, intersection and access works around existing transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop roadwork staging, temporary traffic arrangements and construction methodologiesCoordinate earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavement, kerb, barrier, lighting,



signage and line-marking interfacesLead design reviews, RFIs, survey and pavement-quality planningManage subcontract procurement, cost, quantities, production and program recoveryCoordinate road-opening readiness, inspections, testing, defects and authority acceptance
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in civil, construction or transport engineering5-8 years' contractor experience delivering roads, pavements, drainage and traffic-staged worksCurrent construction induction card and valid driver's licenceAbility to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competenciesContractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement
Relocation packages on offer.
Australian experience is required.
