Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, driving operational insights and helping improve business performance.
You won't just be producing reports; you'll be helping management understand what the numbers mean and identify opportunities for improvement.Key responsibilitiesPrepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reportsProcess monthly journals and general ledger reconciliationsAnalyse and explain financial variancesSupport continuous improvement of management reportingEnsure the integrity and accuracy of financial dataAssist with annual budgets across multiple business entitiesSupport ongoing forecasting and business performance modellingMonitor financial performance against budgets and forecastsConduct job costing, cost analysis and profitability reportingMonitor labour costs and operational spendAbout youMinimum 5 years' experience in a Management Accounting, Commercial Accounting or Finance Business Partnering rolePrevious experience working within a manufacturing,



production or inventory-based environmentStrong management reporting, forecasting and analysis skillsAdvanced understanding of financial accounting principlesIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholdersAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesCPA or CA qualification (highly regarded)Experience with inventory analysis and costing (highly regarded)Experience implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives (highly regarded)About usDairy Best Victoria is a growing business.
