You'll play a key role in developing team capability, improving welding processes, enhancing quality outcomes, and driving workshop performance.About the RoleReporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team of welders and take ownership of safety, quality, productivity and team performance across the welding function.You will ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical welding knowledge with proven leadership capability and a passion for continuous improvement.If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching, improving systems, and delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.Join Hilton Manufacturing and help shape the ongoing future of Australian manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and develop a team of MIG, TIG and FCAW weldersCoordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality and delivery targetsEnsure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and welding standardsDrive first-time quality outcomes and reduce rework and scrapMonitor weld quality, fit-up accuracy and workmanship standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, quality and safetyMaintain production, quality and compliance documentationFoster a positive safety culture through proactive risk managementAbout YouPrevious experience as a Welding Supervisor within a manufacturing or similar environmentStrong knowledge of MIG,
