MON - FRI (PREFERABLE) 38HOURSMEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGER.We are looking for an experienced practice manager with a minimum of 3 years experience as a manager of a private specialist practice (preferably within a gastroenterology clinic)The ideal candidate will have:Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and train staffExcellent IT skills ( knowledge of Clinic to Cloud an advantage)A compassionate and discreet mannerGood problem solving strategiesWonderful telephone manner, with warm people skillsGood team-oriented skills along with excellent communication to work with admin staff, doctors and tenantsBe able to perform well under pressure of a very busy multi-specialist practiceWilling to adapt/receive constructive feedbackAttention to detail and excellent organisational skillsPerform medical secretarial duties from time to time ( 1 - 2 days pw) including patient billings, appointments,



handling of the many phone calls and correspondenceOversee day to day clinic operations and co-ordinate doctors' procedural / operation lists.Lead and support the admin team including recruitment, training, performance reviews and maintaining a positive and friendly workplace culture.Manage, improve and update practice systems, workflows and policies to ensure efficient compliant operations.Oversee Medicare, Private Health Insurance, DVA and procedural billing, including no-gap, known-gap, ensuring compliance with current requirements and prompt resolution of billing issues.Manage practice finances including bank reconciliations and some accounts payable (alongside bookkeeper)Oversee governance, privacy, quality improvement, risk management, OH&S; & confidentialityManage facilities, supplies, cleaning and general organisation of the practiceAddress patient feedback and deal with any complaints professionally and compassionatelyProvide first-line IT trouble shooting with external IT supportOrganise, attend and actively contribute to practice meetings.Car parkingSalary will depend upon previous experience which has been outlined in the ad.
