Interchange Bench is partnering with one of Australia's leading universities to find an experienced investigator.
You'll join a specialist team handling student general misconduct and risk matters.The roleThis three-month contract starts in mid-November.
You'll work closely with senior colleagues on highly sensitive matters.
Your work will include:investigating student general misconduct matters, including gathering, assessing and weighing evidencedrafting notices of allegation, investigation reports and formal outcome decisionssupporting decision makers and misconduct panels through hearingsmanaging a share of a live caseload, with accurate records and timely progressionAbout youYou're an investigator first.
Your background might be in university student conduct, policing, legal practice, workplace investigations, or a complaints,



integrity or regulatory body.
You'll bring:substantial experience running investigations end to enda strong grasp of procedural fairness, with the ability to remain impartial towards all partiesexcellent formal writing: clear, structured and defensiblesound judgement and absolute discretiona team-oriented working styleUniversity sector experience is highly regarded but not essential.
