As a Design Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
Your role will play a crucial part in the design process, ensuring effective communication between engineers, architects, and contractors.
You will be working on a unique blend of exciting projects across the new energy, commercial, industrial, residential, and retail sectors, both across Queensland and Australia wide.Key responsibilitiesCreate accurate technical drawings and plans that adhere to industry standards and project specificationsEnsure effective communication between engineers, architects, and contractors through design documentationReview and stamp shop fabricator's drawingsConsider budgetary constraints and project size to find the most efficient way to document something without sacrificing qualityEstimate time to complete projects and plan time to meet deadlinesHelp build and evolve standard drawing suiteAbout youDesign or drafting experience for a Structural Engineering consultancy or related fieldUnderstanding of drafting principlesProficient in either Autocad or RevitExperience using Bluebeam or 12dS software is an advantageUnderstanding of engineering drawings and construction detailsVersatile with additional skills or willing to learnStrong ability to time manage and meet deadlinesAttractive income packageHybrid working, including laptop for remote workingRewarding personal development for future leadership rolesAbout usRECOR is a rapidly growing modern engineering and project management consultancy with offices in Brisbane and Noosa.
