Visa holders will not be considered for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be trained and rotated across several operational areas, including:Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)Assist with furnace operations including lancing, tapping, and slag managementMonitor production processes and support safe steelmaking operationsLadle Furnace & RefiningMonitor steel temperature and chemistrySupport refining processes to meet production specificationsCasting OperationsAssist with billet casting and slide gate controlRespond to and manage breakout incidents safely and efficientlyCrane OperationsOperate scrap, charging, and hot metal cranes (where licensed)Assist with movement of raw materials and production equipmentQuality & Laboratory SupportConduct sampling and quality checks on billets and molten steelMaintain accurate production and operational recordsGeneral OperationsMaintain high housekeeping standardsFollow lockout/tagout and safety proceduresSupport shift handovers and team communicationRoster & BenefitsRotating Shift Pattern2 Days – 6:00am to 6:00pm2 Nights – 6:00pm to 6:00am4 Days OffRosters are provided six months in advance, allowing you to confidently plan personal time, holidays, and family commitments.What's in It for You?
