As Senior Solicitor, you'll be a key litigation specialist within Council's legal function.
You'll take carriage of complex disputes and proceedings, with a strong focus on matters before the Land and Environment Court and other courts and tribunals.
From early case assessment and evidence preparation through to hearing, you'll develop sound litigation strategies, appear as an advocate where appropriate and instruct Counsel to achieve well-considered outcomes.You'll work closely with stakeholders across Council to identify legal and evidentiary risks, provide clear advice on prospects and strategy, and ensure matters are managed efficiently, professionally and in line with Council's obligations.This is an opportunity to use your courtroom experience,
