We're looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our Sachi team as we prepare for the season.
We're after someone who is confident in their skills, takes pride in their craft and can work efficiently in a busy kitchen without compromising quality.
Working alongside our existing kitchen team, you'll be involved in preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri and chirashi to a consistent standard, handling, portioning and preparing fresh seafood with care and precision, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and food safety, supporting daily preparation, stock management and kitchen operations, and working collaboratively with the team during busy lunch and dinner services.Key responsibilitiesPreparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri and chirashi to a consistent standardHandling, portioning and preparing fresh seafood with care and precisionMaintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and food safetySupporting daily preparation, stock management and kitchen operationsWorking collaboratively with the team during busy lunch and dinner servicesAbout youProven experience working as a sushi chef in a professional kitchenConfident knife skills and knowledge of Japanese seafood preparationStrong understanding of sushi rice,
