Key responsibilities
Arranging deliveries by our own vehicles, couriers or customer pick-up, and choosing the right, cost-effective transport option for each jobPicking, packing, staging and loading orders, and checking delivery dockets for accuracyContacting customers and site contacts when orders are readyReceipting inwards goods against purchase orders and reporting any discrepanciesKeeping internal systems up to date with delivery and receipting informationHelping with stock monitoring, stocktakes, Kanban and dispatch consumablesKeeping the dispatch area clean, organised and safeWorking closely with the Production Supervisor on job changes, delivery issues and damaged or missing itemsCompleting end-of-day dispatch tasks and site lock-up
About you
Current forklift licence (LF) and driver's licence (essential)Experience in dispatch, warehousing,



logistics or a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or construction supplyStrong attention to detail with dockets, quantities and paperworkComfortable with computer systems and emailClear, qualified communication with customers, couriers and the teamSelf-motivated: you keep busy during quieter periods by preparing upcoming jobs and keeping the area in orderReliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to safety
