We're looking for a qualified Trainer with a background in disability and/or employment services to join our small, friendly team on a casual basis.This is a hands-on, face-to-face role based in Ringwood and the surrounding areas, working directly with participants to build their work-readiness and life skills.What you'll be doingDelivering structured, engaging training programs to participants one-on-one and in small groupsBuilding participants' work-readiness, vocational and everyday living skills in line with their NDIS goalsAdapting training content and delivery to suit different learning needs and abilitiesSupporting participants with job search, including resumes, applications and interview practiceSupporting participants during work experience placements and as they start new jobsKeeping transparent, accurate notes on participant progressWorking closely with our NDIS Manager and Employment Support OfficersYou'll work with adults and young people under 18, so a safe, respectful and age-appropriate approach is essential.About youCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, or TAE*****), and/or Diploma in Community Services,



Education or equivalent relevant experienceA background in disability and/or employment servicesConfident delivering training in a person-centred, practical wayPatient, reliable and respectful, with good communication skillsComfortable working with young people as well as adultsAble to work independently and as part of a small teamA current driver's licence and your own car, as you'll travel between locationsHighly regarded:Previous experience in a similar training or employment support roleExperience supporting people with disability into work or work experience placementsLived experience of disability, or experience working alongside people with disabilityWhat we offerFlexible casual hours, approximately 15 hours per weekMeaningful work: you'll see the difference you make every dayA supportive, close-knit teamRegular supervision and team meetings$***** – $***** per hour depending on qualifications and experience (casual rate, including 25% casual loading), plus superannuation.Before you start, you'll needWorking with Children Check (Victoria)Current First Aid and CPR certificateCompletion of the free NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleA commitment to follow the NDIS Code of ConductParamount Inclusion Services is committed to diversity and inclusion.
