We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at the One Heart Centre in Marrickville and North Sydney.
As a part-time Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of our medical practice.Key responsibilitiesWarmly greeting and assisting patients in person, by phone and by email, providing an exceptional first impression of the practice and managing the reception areaAnswering incoming phone calls, responding to patient queries, and providing information about the clinic and its servicesMaintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information using the practice management software (Shexie)Processing patient invoicing, receipting and payments, including Medicare and private health fund billingScanning, filing and managing incoming referrals, clinical correspondence and outgoing lettersLiaising professionally with Medicare, hospital staff, referring doctors and other medical stakeholdersAssisting with the set-up and return of ambulatory monitoring devices (e.g. Holter monitors, blood pressure monitors) — full training and incentives providedUpholding the highest standards of patient privacy, confidentiality and professional conduct at all timesAbout youPrevious experience in a medical reception or customer service role,
