Active Fabrications' is seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our team in Beenleigh, QLD on a casual basis with Fulltime available to the right person.
As a Lathe Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating industrial lathes to turn Trailer axles.
Your expertise will contribute to the high-quality production of our products, ensuring we meet the demands of our valued clients.What you'll be doingOperating industrial lathes to manufacture Trailer Axles to strict tolerances and quality standardsSetting up and adjusting lathe equipment, including selecting and securing the appropriate tools and workpiecesMonitoring machine operations and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance and product qualityPerforming routine maintenance and minor repairs on lathe equipment to ensure it remains in good working conditionCollaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvementsCutting and preparing the steel.What we're looking forProven experience as a Lathe Operator or similar machinist role,
