The cook role supports all our children and families by promoting healthy eating habits, and supporting a welcoming and inclusive workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 6 yearsManage allergies, intolerances, cultural preferences, and dietary requirements and provide inclusive modifications to meals as requiredMaintain our kitchen cleanliness,



safety to the highest standardEnsure compliance with Food Safety Standards and relevant health regulations including local councilMonitor food stock levels and place orders as requiredMaintain accurate food safety records and temperature logs and daily documentationWork collaboratively with the team to achieve the best outcomes for our childrenParticipate in staff meetings, staff training and other required eventsHours are negotiable - approximately 30 hours per week, four or five days per weekFood Safety Supervisor CertificateCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis trainingUnderstanding of allergens and their managementExcellent written and verbal English communication skills
