Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Good Shepherd College, is offering a full time Education Support (sport and recreation) Traineeship opportunity, commencing in 2027. This position will have the successful applicant working across both senior and junior campuses within the school.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are interested in developing their skills and gaining valuable experience working in a school environment.

General Tasks may Include:

- Assist with the setting up and conducting major sporting programs
- Assist with the student activities program
- Undertake sports administration
- Liaise with staff and students in relation to sports organisation and implementation
- Maintain sports equipment
- Monitor children/students during classroom and play activities
- Follow School policies and procedures
- Attend outings and excursions (may be required to attend overnight school camps)
- Assist water safety and lifeguard personnel during outdoor education and events




- Undertake general tasks as required or as directed by supervisor
- Undertake Yard Duty

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

- A friendly personality and strong communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Patience, and empathy
- Commitment to completing a Certificate III in School Based Education Support.
