In this role, you will provide overall operational and clinical leadership across a medium-sized residential aged care facility. Taking ownership of the day-to-day management, you will play a key role in driving the ongoing success, development and performance of the service within Melbourne's North East.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager and working collaboratively with your clinical lead your main responsibilities will include: ensuring the delivery of high quality person centred care, the maximisation of revenue and ensuring accreditation standards are met and maintained.

You will be an experienced, self-motivated and proactive manager, who has a proven track record within an operational capacity including the achievement of financial budgets, implementation and continued development of standards and procedures and promoting productivity of your team members across the facility through your management style and knowledge of HR standards.

Main Duties

- Day to day operations & management of the service
- Ensure occupancy levels are met & maintained through community engagement




- Finance & HR management
- Motivation, training & development of team members
- Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met in line with accreditation & industry standards

Skills & Requirements:

- AHPRA Registered Nurse registration with previous leadership experience and full working rights
- Staff mentorship & development experience.
- Up to date working knowledge & experience achieving accreditation standards
- Ability to identify & improve areas of clinical risk & quality guidelines
- Budget, finance management experience
