The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join a well-established, high-profile Australian organisation.

This is a senior strategic position combining commercial strategy, financial modelling, performance analysis and business transformation. You will play a key role in shaping commercial direction, evaluating investment opportunities and identifying opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate complex business data into meaningful insights, influence strategic decisions and drive initiatives that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead commercial strategy and performance initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and business performance.
- Develop sophisticated financial models, business cases and investment assessments to support strategic decisions.
- Analyse complex financial, operational and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, commercial returns and competing business priorities.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for executive leadership.
- Drive strategic projects and business transformation initiatives across multiple functions.
- Develop performance frameworks, reporting capabilities and commercial processes.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.




- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, analytics and commercial functions.

About You You are a commercially minded strategic leader with a robust combination of financial expertise, analytical capability and stakeholder influence.
You will ideally bring:

- 8–10 years' experience across commercial strategy, commercial finance, performance or strategic analytics.
- Experience operating within a large, complex organisation.
- Advanced financial modelling, business case development and ROI assessment capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate data insights into business outcomes.
- Experience influencing senior executives and presenting strategic recommendations.
- A track record of leading transformation initiatives and delivering commercial improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce or Analytics are preferred. An MBA or postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
