Consulting Enterprise Architect | Microsoft Transformation Location: Perth, Western Australia (client sites as required)

About the Role: Our client is an established international management and technology consulting organisation, helping businesses deliver complex digital transformation, enterprise architecture and technology modernisation initiatives.
A newly created opportunity exists for an experienced Consulting Enterprise Architect to play a key role across two significant client engagements, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies and enterprise-wide transformation.
Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will provide strategic architecture advice, shape technology roadmaps and guide the design and delivery of enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives.
This is a senior, client-facing consulting position requiring someone who can operate confidently across business strategy, enterprise architecture and the Microsoft technology ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead enterprise architecture: Provide architecture leadership and strategic guidance across two key client transformation engagements.
- Shape Microsoft technology solutions: Define enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure and relevant enterprise platforms.
- Drive business and technology alignment: Translate business strategies, operational requirements and transformation objectives into practical architecture solutions.
- Develop architecture frameworks: Establish architectural principles, standards, governance and design approaches to support consistent technology decisions.
- Engage senior stakeholders: Work closely with executives, technology leaders, delivery teams and business stakeholders to influence architecture direction and investment priorities.
- Guide solution design: Provide oversight across solution architecture, integration, cloud platforms, data and security considerations.
- Support transformation delivery: Work alongside project and consulting teams to ensure architectural decisions support implementation, business outcomes and long-term technology strategy.
- Provide independent consulting advice: Assess existing technology environments, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend practical, commercially sound solutions.

About You: You are an experienced Enterprise Architect with a robust Microsoft technology background and a proven ability to work within complex enterprise environments.
You understand the relationship between business strategy, technology architecture and transformation delivery, and can confidently engage with stakeholders from technical specialists through to executive leadership.
Ideally, you have worked in a consulting, advisory or professional services environment where you have supported multiple clients, provided independent architecture advice and influenced major technology decisions.
You bring a pragmatic approach to enterprise architecture, balancing long-term strategic direction with the realities of implementation, cost, risk and organisational change.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:

- Significant experience as an Enterprise Architect, Consulting Architect or senior architecture professional within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Microsoft Azure and enterprise technology architecture.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation, technology modernisation or cloud transformation programs.
- Ability to develop enterprise architecture strategies, target-state architectures, transition roadmaps and architecture governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, enterprise integration, application landscapes, data architecture and security principles.
- Experience working with recognised enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks, such as TOGAF or equivalent.
- Proven ability to engage senior business and technology stakeholders, facilitate workshops and communicate complex architecture concepts clearly.
- Experience assessing technology options and providing commercially sound recommendations aligned with business requirements.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving capabilities.




- Ability to work across multiple engagements, manage competing priorities and provide independent architectural leadership.

Bonus Points For:

- Experience with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric or related Microsoft enterprise technologies.
- Microsoft Azure architecture certifications.
- TOGAF or other recognised enterprise architecture certifications.
- Experience working within a management consulting or technology advisory organisation.
- Exposure to enterprise transformation within property, investment, financial services or other complex commercial environments.
- Experience with cloud migration, application modernisation, data transformation or enterprise integration programs.
- Previous involvement in technology strategy, architecture governance or enterprise-wide operating model transformation.
