HR Generalist
Sydney | $115K + Superannuation

About the role:
This is a hands-on HR Generalist role, supporting a fast-paced and growing retail business across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with leaders and the wider People & Culture team, you'll provide practical HR advice, support people initiatives and help foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
You'll work across a broad range of HR activities, balancing day-to-day operational support with opportunities to contribute to people projects, process improvements and employee experience initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts and employment changes
- Support employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations and conflict resolution
- Partner with leaders to support engagement, retention and employee development
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of HR initiatives, projects and policies
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems and processes are up to date
- Support compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards and company policies
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience

What you'll bring:





- 3–5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle and generalist HR practices
- Confidence managing employee relations matters and providing practical advice to stakeholders
- Good understanding of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and employment compliance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across all levels of a business
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic workplace
