WSG is currently seeking experienced Hydrotesting Technicians to support a high-profile project. With a strong pipeline of upcoming scopes across Australia, this is a great opportunity to join an industry leader in pre-commissioning and specialist process services.

About the Role:
You will play a critical role in executing safe, compliant, and efficient hydrotesting operations, ensuring that all systems are validated and ready for commissioning. Working as part of a high-performing team,



you will contribute to WSG's commitment to operational excellence and zero harm.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret test documentation and isometric drawings to determine correct test pressures and appropriate equipment and instrumentation.
- Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing on piping systems, spools, and vessels to validate mechanical integrity.
- Operate and monitor pressure/temperature gauges and recording equipment accurately.
- Identify and escalate any issues with work packs or drawing structures.
- Apply knowledge of testing standards and site-specific procedures in line with WSG's technical and safety expectations.
- Complete all required documentation to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

- Proven hydrotesting experience, Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Experience in chemical cleaning and oil flushing will be highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of pre-commissioning and testing methodologies.
- High level of attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to safety-first culture and following permit-to-work systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support collaborative execution.
- Valid tickets: Confined Space, Working at Heights, and site inductions (or willingness to obtain).
