About the Company:

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting food preparation, service delivery and team performance.
This is a hands-on position suited to a confident chef who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, takes pride in delivering quality dishes and has the leadership skills to bring the best out of a kitchen team.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Head Chef with the daily management and operation of the kitchen.
- Leading and supporting kitchen staff during preparation and service.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Assisting with menu development, specials and seasonal offerings.
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering and food cost controls.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards are maintained.




- Training, mentoring and developing junior kitchen team members.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Your Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a kitchen team in a busy environment.
- Strong a la carte cooking skills and a sound understanding of high-volume kitchen operations.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, stock control and kitchen cost management.
- Passion for quality food, attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
