DSC Personnel are seeking to fill a number of roles for Production Operators for a client based in French Forest, this is an ongoing full-time position with the aim to go from Temp-Perm looking for candidates available for immediate start.

The hours include a day shift, starting from 6:00am to 7am and finishing 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Duties

- Build cable assemblies (low frequency, radio frequency and fibre optic) to drawings and instructions
- Crimp, strip, cut and solder using manual, pneumatic and computerised cable cutting equipment
- Read wire schedules, drawings and schematics, and follow markup changes
- Run in-process and final inspections, including electrical testing, to quality standards
- Complete job paperwork (bills of materials, routers, work orders) and record hours against jobs
- Follow 5S Lean,



keep the work area tidy, and report shortages or faulty parts to the supervisor

Must have

- Previous production experience
- Competent with crimping and stripping tools, cable cutting machines and soldering
- Knowledge of LF and RF cable assemblies
- Can read wire schedules, drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and able to follow processes
- Positive eyesight (glasses or lenses are fine), able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Micro soldering experience
- Fibre optic assembly experience
- Team player, positive attitude and solution focused mindset.
