Day Shift Training → Permanent Afternoon Shift

Join a global industry leader at its clean, safe and up-to-date production facility in Ingleburn.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Welder to join an expanding business, with ongoing work and opportunities to develop your skills.

You will initially complete approximately four weeks of training on day shift before transitioning to an ongoing afternoon shift.

Pay Rates

- Day Shift (training 4 weeks): 7:30am – 4:00pm | $60 per hour
- Afternoon Shift (ongoing): 3:00pm – 11:30pm | $57.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday

About the Role
You will be responsible for precision MIG and TIG welding across a range of production components, including:

- Sheet metal welding involving aluminium, galvanised steel and stainless steel up to 1.2mm thick.
- Conductor welding involving copper and aluminium up to 6.3mm thick.
- Handling and setting up lengths of heavy materials.
- Setting up welding jigs, positioning and clamping components.




- Preheating copper prior to welding.
- Completing fine, detailed and intricate welding work to production specifications.
- Following established welding procedures and achieving production targets.

What We're Looking For

- Proven MIG and TIG welding experience.
- Strong experience in precision and fine welding.
- Experience working with aluminium, copper and stainless steel.
- Ability to set up jigs, clamps and materials independently.
- Good understanding of welding preparation and procedures.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and quality-focused.
- Willingness to learn company-specific welding processes and meet production targets.
- Must be available to transition to ongoing afternoon shift after the initial training period.
