Strathbrook Electrical Services is on the lookout for an experienced, self-motivated Senior Electrician to join our growing team.

We specialise in commercial and industrial electrical projects within the refrigeration industry, covering both installations and servicing.

About the Role

You will work closely with our refrigeration technicians on-site, completing electrical installations, wiring and fault-finding, as well as carrying out electrical wiring and assembly work at our workshop in Wetherill Park, NSW 2164.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Electrical installation, wiring and servicing of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

- Wiring of coolrooms, freezer rooms and refrigeration equipment.

- Installation and connection of electrical power supplies to refrigeration and HVAC systems.

- Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults.

- Working with refrigeration electrical controls, control panels and associated equipment.

- Collaborating with refrigeration technicians on installations, servicing and breakdowns.

- Completing electrical wiring and assembly work at our Wetherill Park workshop.

- Attending scheduled service calls and breakdowns, including after-hours callouts.

- Using our service management app to accurately record job details, labour hours, purchase orders and materials used.

- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

We are looking for a reliable, experienced electrician who can work independently,



take initiative and confidently troubleshoot electrical issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Current NSW Electrical Licence (essential).

- Valid Australian driver's licence (essential).

- Construction White Card (essential).

- Previous experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration electrical systems.

- Strong understanding of refrigeration controls and electrical components.

- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics.

- Experience in electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to participate in a rotating weekly after-hours on-call roster.

- Ability to use an iPad and mobile-based service management software.

Working Hours & Overtime

- Full-time position, based on a standard 40-hour working week.

- Monday to Friday, with standard working hours commencing at 6:30 am.

- Opportunities for additional overtime during the week and on weekends.

- Participation in a rotating weekly after-hours on-call roster is required.
