Be the person who keeps it all moving.
Every job that leaves our Leeton facility helps Australian growers protect their crops, and every one of them starts with a plan. As our Production Coordinator, you’ll be that plan’s owner: you’ll turn customer orders into clear, realistic schedules, give our production teams what they need to succeed, and make sure our customers get what they need, when they need it.
If you love bringing order to a busy floor, solving problems before they become delays, and seeing the direct results of your work every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Why you’ll love working at Polytex
Polytex is a family-owned Australian business, and it shows. You won’t be a number here. You’ll work closely with people who know your name, value your ideas, and back you to grow.
- A role that matters. You’ll sit at the centre of our operations, and your work will directly shape how smoothly our site runs.
- Room to grow. We’re a growing business with real career pathways, plus training and development to help you build your skills.
- Competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
- Flexibility where possible, because life outside work matters too.
- Support when you need it, including access to our Employee Assistance Program.
- A team that looks out for each other. Safety, teamwork and continuous improvement aren’t slogans here, they’re how we work.
What your day looks like
- Planning the work. You’ll schedule production jobs in Smartsheet, assign tasks based on team capacity and deadlines, and calculate ETAs using job requirements and sqm measurements.
- Keeping materials on track. You’ll work hand in hand with our Purchasing Coordinator to check stock, confirm deliveries,
and line up schedules with material availability, including hands-on stock checks when needed.
- Setting teams up to succeed. You’ll prepare and deliver accurate job sheets, labels and production forms so our teams can get straight to work.
- Tracking progress. You’ll keep Smartsheet and HubSpot up to date, mark jobs complete, and spot bottlenecks early so you can help fix them.
- Making things better. You’ll work alongside our production supervisors to hit daily goals and contribute to process improvement across departments.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in production coordination, planning or scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing workplace
- Confidence with scheduling tools (Smartsheet experience is a big plus) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities when things get busy
- A sharp eye for detail and accurate record-keeping
- Clear, friendly communication with people at all levels
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the flexibility to adapt as priorities change
- A high school certificate or equivalent. Qualifications in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing are a bonus, not a must.
Don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. If you’re organised, curious and keen to learn, we’d still like to talk to you.
