Commercial Project Manager – Structural Steel | Adelaide

The company
This is a long-established Adelaide structural steel contractor delivering complete steel packages (drafting, fabrication, painting and erection) on many of the city’s leading construction projects. It has a solid reputation built on quality, consistency and long-term builder relationships, and it’s growing.

The role
You’ll manage multiple projects from contract review to completion, making sure each one is delivered safely, on time and profitably. You’ll:

- Review contracts and scopes, assess commercial viability and own budgets and margins
- Coordinate drafting, procurement, fabrication, painting, transport and erection
- Manage RFIs, variations, contractual issues and project documentation
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, cranes and site logistics




- Lead project meetings with clients, builders and internal teams
- Track progress, costs and schedules, and report on outcomes

About you

- Project management experience in construction (structural steel highly regarded)
- Strong commercial skills across costing, budgeting, variations and contract administration
- Confident reading structural drawings and specifications
- Able to run multiple projects at once and see the bigger picture
- Strong Excel skills for cost control and reporting
- A clear communicator and a solid negotiator
