Experienced CNC Machinist wanted for a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment in Brendale. AM and PM shift available

Pay Rate

- $50 – $60 per hour + penalties (depending on experience)

Hours

- Monday to Thursday 2:30pm - 11pm
2:30pm starts
Friday Early start: 12pm - 6pm

360 Personnel is currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join their team based in Brendale, QLD.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced tradesperson with a strong machining background who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture and repair hydraulic cylinder components to precise specifications.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines

- Programming and adjusting CNC machines as required

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

- Machining and manufacturing hydraulic cylinder components

- Completing precision measurements and quality inspections

- Troubleshooting machining issues and making necessary adjustments

- Performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment

- Maintaining a clean, organised and secure workshop

- Working to high standards of quality, accuracy and safety

About You





To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Relevant Trade Qualification in Engineering, CNC Machining or similar

- Strong hands-on CNC machining experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

- Sound knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation

- Experience with CNC lathes and/or milling machines

- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical and engineering drawings

- Strong precision measuring and quality-checking skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- A reliable attitude and commitment to workplace safety and quality
