Maroubra Urgent Care Centre Summer Shifts

Summer’s a busy time at our Urgent Care centre, and we’re looking for GPs to help out over the holidays, from December through January. Maybe you’d like a few extra shifts, a short block of work, or you’re happy to pick up a public holiday or two. Either way, this one’s worth a read.

So, what’s it like?

You’ll be part of Australia’s largest urgent care network, working alongside experienced nurses and strong clinical leaders who genuinely have your back. The systems are valuable, the team is collaborative, and the setup lets you focus on what matters: looking after patients.

On any given shift, you might see:

- Acute illness and injury presentations

- Minor procedures and wound management

- Same-day urgent assessments

- Short-term acute care within a structured clinical framework

Summer is when the community needs us most. You’ll be helping people over the holidays and taking pressure off the local ED when it’s at its busiest.

Here’s what you get

- Up to $2,500 per shift

- No overnight work

New Year and Australia Day shifts available

- Travel and accommodation covered if you’re coming in FIFO or DIDO

- Training and opportunities to keep growing your skills

Sound like you?

You’ll need:

- FRACGP or FACRRM

- Unrestricted AHPRA registration

- Current ALS certification

- ED, VMO or Urgent Care experience

- RACGP Indigenous Cultural Awareness and Cultural Safety training (or be happy to complete it before you start)
