Are you an experienced Clinical Manager / Clinical Care Manager looking to take the next step into Facility Management? Our client is a well-established, values-driven not-for-profit aged care provider seeking an emerging leader who is ready to develop their operational and commercial capabilities while continuing to draw on their clinical expertise.

This isn't an opportunity where you'll be thrown in the deep end and expected to know everything from day one. You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team and given the opportunity to work closely with the existing RN team, spending time on the floor to understand the residents, workforce, clinical operations and day-to-day running of the facility.

The Opportunity

As Facility Manager, you'll take on an exciting development opportunity, building on your clinical leadership experience while expanding your knowledge across the operational, commercial and business aspects of residential aged care.

Working closely with the executive leadership team, you'll gradually develop ownership of the facility's overall performance, with the benefit of hands-on exposure and guidance along the way.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading,



supporting and developing the clinical and operational team.

- Working alongside the RN team on the floor to gain a thorough understanding of clinical operations and resident care.

- Developing an understanding of budgets, financial performance, occupancy and workforce planning.

- Driving resident-centred care and positive clinical outcomes.

- Supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.

- Building strong relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders.

- Developing a positive workplace culture built around accountability, collaboration and quality care.

- Working closely with senior leadership to develop your operational and commercial management capabilities.

About You

We're particularly interested in hearing from an experienced Clinical Manager or Clinical Care Manager who is ready to take the next step into Facility Management.

You'll ideally bring:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- Experience in a Clinical Manager, Clinical Care Manager or senior clinical leadership position within residential aged care.

- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and accreditation requirements.

- An interest in developing your commercial and operational management capabilities.

- A hands-on leadership approach and willingness to work alongside the RN team.

- Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

- A genuine passion for resident care and continuous improvement.

- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency. Sponsorship is not available.
