Telecommunications Team Leader

Green light is looking for a Telecommunication Team Leader for a 12 months contract based in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities

Required functions include:

1. leading and coordinating the team’s daily activities.
2. managing workloads, priorities, work queues, and service requests.
3. assigning work based on skills, capacity, urgency, and service impact.
4. overseeing incidents, escalations, requests, problems, and changes.
5. ensuring high-priority, emergency telecommunications issues are promptly escalated.
6. coordinating internal activities associated with service provisioning, migrations, changes, and planned outages.
7. coordinating team availability and continuity of operational coverage.
8. conducting operational meetings and maintaining action registers.
9. reviewing the timeliness and quality of completed work.
10. mentoring team members and improving operational consistency.
11. coordinating with the Service Desk, infrastructure teams, local sites, project teams, and service providers.
12. monitoring provider actions and escalating delays or performance concerns.
13. preparing operational, workload and service-performance reports.
14. maintaining procedures, work instructions, operational playbooks, and Knowledge Base Articles.
15. identifying service, process, and automation improvements; and
16.



providing regular advice and reporting to the Service Integration and Unified Communications Manager.

The Team Leader will provide operational and functional leadership. Formal employment, conduct and performance-management responsibilities for the employees will remain with the relevant customer manager.
