The role
Reporting to the business’s leadership team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the farm and its performance. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and delivering production programs from preparation through to harvest

- Leading, rostering and developing on-farm staff, seasonal workers and contractors

- Working closely with agronomy and technical advisors to monitor crops and lift yields

- Managing machinery, maintenance schedules and farm infrastructure

- Driving a solid Workplace Health and Safety culture

- Budgeting,



reporting and record-keeping against production targets

- Hands-on involvement in field operations during peak periods

About you

- Proven management or supervisory experience in a cropping or horticulture operation

- Solid knowledge of crop production and seasonal programs

- Experience operating and managing farm machinery and equipment

- A leader who mentors, communicates clearly and gets the best out of a team

- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable making decisions

- Relevant qualifications are welcome but not essential

- Current driver’s licence; machinery tickets highly regarded
