Join the Fixara Plumbing, Gas & Drains Team

Fed up with feeling undervalued? Are you a plumber who loves the variety of maintenance work and enjoys being part of a team? Do you like problem solving and get a kick out of leaving a customer happy? Do you want to work somewhere you’re more than just a number? Then we’d love to meet you.

Who are we?
Fixara is a small, family-owned business with our own offices in North Adelaide, servicing all of greater Adelaide. We specialise in domestic breakdown and maintenance plumbing.

Being family-run really shapes how we work. Everyone in the team matters, and we look out for one another. We back each other up, celebrate good work and keep things friendly. We care about doing the job properly and treating customers the way we’d want our own families treated.

We’re growing, and we have big plans for 2027. We’re looking for people who want to come along for the ride and help shape what Fixara becomes.

What are we offering?

- $45–$65 per hour, depending on experience

- Additional bonus based on quality of service

- Your own fully equipped van

- Fuel card, so you’re not out of pocket

- 8am–4pm hours, so you have time for life outside work

- A team that truly values you. Your skills and contribution will be noticed and appreciated.

- Room to grow with a business that’s heading somewhere

What kind of work?
The work is mostly residential maintenance. You’ll be out on the road across Adelaide, so no two days are the same.

One day you might be swapping out a hot water system in the Hills, the next tracking down a tricky plumbing fault in the suburbs. You’ll be part of a service team with autonomy and independence. You’ll also have the support of the office during your day.

What you’ll cover:

- Hot water system repairs and replacements

- Gas appliance work

- Blocked drains, CCTV inspections and relining

- Taps, ball valves, toilets and fixtures

- In the future, bathroom renovations

- Transparent communication helping customers understand what’s going on and recommending practical fixes

About you
You’re someone who takes pride in a job well done and enjoys the trust that comes with running your own day. You like people, you can share a laugh, and you get satisfaction from fixing things properly the first time.

You’ll need:

- SA plumbing licence

- A full current driver’s licence

- Fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Confidence working independently and managing your own day

- A friendly manner with customers, and a valuable sense of humour

- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail

Experience with drain cameras, jetters, quoting or ServiceM8 is a bonus, but not essential. If you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll help you with the rest.

Ready for something better?
If you’re after a workplace where you’re valued, trusted and part of something growing, we’d love to hear from you. Send through your resume and a bit about yourself. We’re looking forward to meeting you.
