Cater Care is seeking a motivated and hands-on Chef Manager to join our team at Uniting – Mingaletta in Port Macquarie.

This is an opportunity to bring your food expertise, leadership and customer service skills into an aged care setting where quality meals and positive dining experiences make a genuine difference every day.

The opportunity

You'll take an active role in the day-to-day kitchen operation, ensuring meals are prepared with care, consistency and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking quality meals, including bulk food production.
- Preparing texture-modified meals in line with dietary requirements.
- Delivering friendly, attentive customer service.
- Managing daily kitchen activities and working independently.
- Maintaining high standards across food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

What you'll bring





- Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certification.
- Experience in food preparation and bulk cooking.
- Understanding of texture-modified food requirements.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality and customer service.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a Police Check, meet flu vaccination requirements and satisfy applicable NDIS screening requirements.
