Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil construction company seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to join their team based in Beenleigh, Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong tendering and estimating experience within the civil construction industry.

The Role

- Manage the end-to-end tendering and pre-contracts process for civil construction projects
- Identify and assess upcoming tender opportunities
- Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings and project requirements
- Coordinate estimates, cost plans, pricing and tender submissions
- Liaise with Project Managers, estimators, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify commercial risks, project constraints and opportunities
- Prepare tender schedules, methodologies and supporting documentation
- Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and within deadlines




- Support the business in securing new civil construction projects

Position Requirements

- Previous experience in a Pre-Contracts Manager, Estimator or Tendering Manager role within civil construction
- Robust understanding of civil infrastructure and construction methodologies
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing competitive tender submissions
- Strong commercial, analytical and cost-estimating skills
- Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications and contract documentation
- Experience coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
