About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client, a dedicated not-for-profit organisation providing valuable services to communities across Queensland. Based in Brendale, they are seeking a Finance Officer to join their supportive team on a casual, short-term contract for 2 to 3 months to begin with.

Our client is a long-standing partner of Randstad and we have consistently received exceptional feedback from candidates placed with them. You will work alongside an experienced Finance Officer who originally started as a Randstad contractor nearly 7 years ago, transitioned to permanent and is still happily there today.

About the role: Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will support the day-to-day transactional finance operations across the organisation.



Your key duties will include:

- Generating sales invoices and managing debtor follow-ups for overdue accounts
- Managing accounts payable and preparing payment runs
- Conducting regular bank and account reconciliations
- Managing finance email inbox enquiries and correspondence
- General electronic filing, record maintenance, and ad-hoc administrative support
- Assisting with payroll processing as required

About you:

- Demonstrated experience in an accounts receivable, accounts payable, or all-round finance support position
- Hands-on experience using MYOB Strong attention to detail and sound time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- The ability to commence immediately or within the next fortnight
- Willingness to obtain or hold a current Police Check Certificate
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
