We are seeking a motivated, proactive, highly organised and experienced Purchasing and Logistics Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role you will provide support to the Wiluna Site Operations team through secure and efficient coordination of operations purchasing and logistics.

This role is based in West Perth with travel to Wiluna.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Raising and managing purchase orders to ensure timely supply of goods

- Review supplier contracts and look at ways to optimise procurement timelines, reduce costs, and maintain a high level of service delivery

- Effectively managing the internal and external procurement relationships





- Coordinate with warehousing and all Department Heads to manage the inventory list in line with internal control policies and operational requirements, to ensure adequate stock is carried at all times

- Liaise with warehousing and line managers regarding any concerns relating to delays or supply issues

- Conferring with Heads of Departments to maintain and continuously review and update the critical parts list

- Arranging transport/freight for goods to site and act as primary liaison for logistics partners

- Expediting and tracking of outstanding orders to minimise downtime and freight costs

- Maintenance of system purchasing data to ensure data integrity is maintained

- Support suppliers as required, including supplier audits, reviews and performance improvements

The ideal candidate will come from a mining background, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have the following:

- Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing and logistics role, preferably within the mining industry

- Working knowledge and understanding of purchasing procedures, systems and processes

- Working knowledge of Warehouse Practices and Inventory Control

- Experience with using ERP (Pronto preferred)
