COOK - Pizzeria

Located in the heart of Hamilton Island's Marina Village, Pizzeria is a popular casual dining venue serving freshly prepared pizzas to guests enjoying the island lifestyle. We're looking for an experienced Cook to join our Pizzeria kitchen team. If you're confident preparing pizzas, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and can maintain quality while managing multiple orders, this is a great opportunity to bring your skills to one of Hamilton Island's casual dining venues.

What you'll be doing

You'll be hands-on preparing, assembling and cooking pizzas, ensuring every order meets quality, portioning and presentation standards. You'll manage your preparation, maintain ingredients and toppings,



and work efficiently to keep orders moving during busy service periods.

Working closely with the wider kitchen team, you'll need to stay organised, manage multiple orders and maintain consistent cooking standards while following food safety and hygiene procedures.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen or pizzeria
- Hands-on experience preparing, assembling and cooking pizzas
- Confidence operating commercial pizza ovens
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume takeaway or casual dining environment
- Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining quality and consistency
- Strong food preparation skills, organisation and food safety awareness
- A reliable, positive attitude and flexibility to work a rotating roster
