About the role

Barbaro Smallgoods is seeking a reliable and hardworking Meat Process Worker to join our team in Wangara. This full-time position involves assisting with the preparation and production of our smallgoods range. You will work alongside our experienced production team to ensure products are made efficiently and meet our quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

- Assisting with the preparation and production of sausages, salami, ham, bacon and other smallgoods

- Weighing ingredients and following recipes and production instructions accurately

- Operating processing and packing equipment safely, following training and instructions

- Packing, vacuum sealing and labelling finished products





- Assisting with stock movement, stock rotation and order preparation

- Cleaning and sanitising machinery, equipment and production areas

- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

- Working with the team to meet daily production requirements

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience in either Butchering, Meat processing, Smallgoods or food manufacturing is preferred

- Good attention to detail and a commitment to product quality

- An understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements

- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work in refrigerated production areas

- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a busy team

- No formal butchery qualification is required
