We are seeking experienced safety and training professionals who want to further their careers in the underground and surface mining sector. These roles are based in WA, flying in and out of Perth on an 8:6 roster.

Key responsibilities

- Build strong working relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels

- Provide practical guidance and advice to site teams on safety, health and training matters

- Deliver and support site inductions, pre-starts, safety meetings and toolbox talks

- Coordinate and deliver training and competency programs, and maintain the training matrix and records

- Provide training metrics and reporting to track progress and performance





- Champion a strong safety culture where safe work is everyone’s responsibility

- Develop and maintain the Safety Management System, including related documentation, policies and procedures

- Conduct thorough incident investigations in a timely manner and ensure corrective actions are implemented

- Support auditing and inspection programs, and liaise with the client to ensure all safety obligations are met

Requirements

- Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety

- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)

- Minimum 2–3 years in a site-based safety or training role

- Previous exposure to the underground mining or surface and broader resources industry

- Experience in incident investigations and workplace auditing

- ICAM qualification (highly desirable)
