Under one roof, Hyde Melbourne Place features three venues: Eastern Mediterranean dining with city views at Cleo rooftop, coastal Spanish and Portuguese cuisine at Marmelo restaurant, or late-night drinks at Mr Mills bar. The hotel also features a dedicated Meetings & Events floor, catering for up to 400 guests.

POSITION

Hyde Melbourne Place is looking for a Guest Experience Agent to join the Front Office team. Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in creating experiences our guests will remember. As the face of the hotel, you will deliver personalised service, build meaningful connections with guests, and help bring the Hyde brand to life every day.

- Deliver exceptional guest service from check-in to check-out and throughout the guest journey;

- Create memorable experiences by anticipating guest needs and personalising interactions;

- Proactively manage and resolve guest feedback to ensure positive outcomes;

- Accurately process cash, credit card transactions, and related documentation;





- Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to enhance the guest experience;

- Respond to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner;

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences;

- Maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional Front Office environment.

ABOUT YOU

- Previous Front Office or guest service experience;

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;

- Experience with Opera Cloud (preferred);

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail;

- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
