Full time Cook – Aagaman Indian Nepalese Restaurant, Port Melbourne/ flinders lane Melbourne We are seeking a reliable and experienced cook to join our kitchen team full time.
Requirements: • Previous experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen, preferably with Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
• Ability to prepare curries, marinades and other menu items.
Tandoor experience is highly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and protected food storage.
• Ability to maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes during busy service.
• Good teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
• Availability to work a roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.




• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications are desirable.
• Work rights suitable for full time employment in Australia.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
• Organise ingredients and preparation before service.
• Check deliveries, rotate stock and minimise food waste.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
• Work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
