A rapidly growing leader in the retail services industry is looking for a Assistant Controller to oversee U.S. and Canadian accounting operations. What You’ll Do

- Lead day-to-day accounting and month-end close processes (U.S. & Canada)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Support audits, SEC reporting, and tax compliance activities




- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 accounting professionals
- Collaborate across departments to improve systems and processes

What You Bring

- 8-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting + CPA required (MBA is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP; exposure to revenue, lease, and equity accounting a plus
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (Workday preferred)
- Advanced Excel + strong analytical and communication skills
- Leadership mindset with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
