Bake, Table & Tea | Full-Time Position

About the role

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Hospitality Team Member to join our friendly team at Bake, Table & Tea.

This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys all aspects of café life, from delivering exceptional customer service to assisting with food preparation and presentation. You'll be comfortable working across both front and back of house, enjoy being part of a close-knit team and take pride in maintaining high standards in everything you do.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and happy to roll up their sleeves, with a genuine passion for great food, coffee and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

- Provide warm, friendly and personalised service to all customers.

- Take customer orders and process transactions accurately using POS, cash and EFTPOS.

- Assist customers with menu recommendations and respond to enquiries.

- Prepare, plate and present food to our quality and presentation standards.

- Assist with light cooking, food preparation and general kitchen duties.

- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to required standards.

- Assemble and package takeaway orders accurately and attractively.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the café, kitchen and service areas.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and safe food handling procedures.

- Assist with stock rotation, monitoring stock levels and general inventory duties.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

About you

- Previous experience in hospitality, café or food service is essential.





- Confident working across both customer service and food preparation.

- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers.

- Well organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment.

- Takes initiative and is happy to work independently when required.

- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in food presentation and cleanliness.

- Basic cooking knowledge and an interest in quality food.

- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

- Passionate about great food, coffee and creating memorable customer experiences.
