Healthcare Australia Doctors is seeking an experienced Surgical Registrar for a locum prospect at Lismore Base Hospital in Northern NSW.
This placement offers a competitive hourly rate, travel and accommodation, and the opportunity to work across surgical services, including Urology and Vascular cover.
Position Details

- Hospital: Lismore Base Hospital, NSW
- Position: Surgical Registrar
- Dates: Tuesday 20 October – Friday 6 November 2026
- Rate: $145–$165 per hour
- Inclusions: Travel and accommodation provided
- Additional responsibilities: Urology and Vascular cover

About the Role
The successful doctor will provide registrar-level surgical support, with responsibilities extending to both Urology and Vascular services.
This may include:

- Providing Urology and Vascular consultations as required




- Participating in on-call responsibilities
- Supporting the wider surgical teams with day-to-day clinical duties
- Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe patient care

Requirements

- Current AHPRA medical registration
- Relevant experience working at Surgical Registrar level
- Ability to provide Urology and Vascular cover as required
- Availability for the advertised placement dates
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing and compliance requirements
