THE OPPORTUNITY

The company is a well established, family-owned private enterprise with multiple businesses operating across Australia.

With continued expansion across its existing operations and future acquisitions, the group is seeking an experienced CFO to lead its finance function and support its long-term commercial objectives.

Working directly with shareholders, you’ll have the autonomy to strengthen financial performance, influence strategic decisions and contribute to the group’s future direction.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the head of the group, you’ll oversee the group’s financial operations and provide strategic financial leadership.

Key responsibilities include:





- Managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
- Leading and developing the existing finance team
- Providing commercial and strategic advice to shareholders and wider group
- Supporting business expansion, acquisitions and investment decisions
- Reviewing financial systems, processes and controls
- Improving efficiencies through technology and automation
- Contributing to long-term financial planning and board-level decisions

ABOUT YOU

You’re a strategic finance qualified with a high level of technical capability and a strong understanding of how to improve business performance.

Ideally you’ll bring:

- Experience as a CFO, Head of Finance or senior Financial Controller
- Experience managing finances across multiple business entities
- Strong financial reporting, cash flow and commercial management skills
- The ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
- Confidence working directly with business owners and shareholders
- Experience supporting business growth and strategic planning

Experience in construction, manufacturing, building products or related industries would be advantageous but not necessary.
