Queensland Corrective Services is seeking an Official Visitor Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander (Identified) to provide independent oversight for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in custody in Cairns, Australia. The role operates under the Corrective Services Act 2006 and contributes impartial input on QCS decisions.
Official Visitors are rostered to attend an adult correctional centre at least once per month and are paid per completed shift.
