About the role

This position is scheduled to commence in January 2027.

MiTek is looking for a curious, practical Technical Support Representative to support customers across Australia and New Zealand using our specialist design and manufacturing software.

This is more than a traditional IT helpdesk role. You’ll investigate software, design and modelling issues, understand what the customer is trying to achieve, and work through problems logically to find practical solutions.

Experience in Australian construction, timber framing, frame and truss, drafting, CAD, engineering or building products would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.

If you come from a different technical background and are a strong, methodical problem solver who enjoys learning and helping customers, we’d still like to hear from you.

What you'll do

Help customers troubleshoot and resolve issues across the MiTek Software Suite.

Investigate software, design, modelling, configuration and system-related problems.

Use structured troubleshooting to identify the cause and guide customers towards practical solutions.

Maintain clear and accurate case records, investigations and resolutions.

Work with technical specialists, Product, Software Quality and Development teams on more complex issues.





Contribute to knowledge articles, training resources and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Above all, we’re looking for someone who can think logically, investigate methodically and communicate clearly with customers.

Experience in one or more of these areas would be an advantage:

Australian building, construction, timber framing or frame and truss

CAD, drafting, design or engineering

Building products or manufacturing

Application or software support

Technical customer service

MiTek or similar design, engineering or fabrication software

A technical qualification in construction, engineering, drafting, IT or a related field is beneficial, but relevant practical experience is equally valued.
