- Take ownership to ensure compliant installation.
- Build a career across project management, technical support & sales.
Not your typical desk-based project role,
this is a field-based Project Manager role for someone who enjoys being close to the action: visiting sites, speaking with builders and installers, solving practical problems and helping projects run smoothly from order through to compliant installation.
You are not simply track schedules from an office. Instead, you will be the visible face of the business on site—coordinating, reviewing installations, providing technical guidance, resolving issues and ensuring customers receive the right product, support and outcome. This is a brand that is engineered to deliver certified fire and acoustic performance for walls, shafts, corridors, plant rooms, and more. And you would be providing support across the project lifecycle, from specification through to installation.
A role for people who like ownership
You will manage your own project portfolio with a high degree of autonomy. Naturally, you will have strong support from Sales, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, and technical experts.
You will be trusted to prioritise your workload, manage customer relationships, make sound decisions in the field and take ownership of outcomes.
This suits a self-starter who is comfortable working in the field for much of the week, representing the business confidently with customers, contractors, and developers.
You will be expected to identify issues early, act proactively and escalategeneric input is genuinely required.
Why the field component matters
These are cutting edge systems installed in demanding real-world environments—from multi-residential party walls to industrial buildings, tunnels and critical infrastructure. They are lightweight, modular fire-rated and acoustic and designed for rapid installation and used on major projects where program, access, compliance,
and installation quality all matter.
That means this role will particularly suit people with backgrounds in:
- Construction or building materials — site coordinators, project administrators, estimators, technical sales representatives, or product specialists.
- Trades and installation — carpenters, plasterers, installers, site supervisors, or leading hands who understand how work is actually delivered on site.
- Customer-facing technical roles — people experienced in supporting builders, contractors, architects, or distributors.
- Sales or business development — professionals who can build trust, explain product value, negotiate commercially, and identify growth opportunities.
You do not need to be an engineer but you must be able to learn the product range, understand compliant installation principles, recognise risks on site, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
What makes this opportunity different
- Real project influence: You will help keep projects moving, protect installation quality, and support customers at critical stages.
- Technical and commercial exposure: You will develop deep product knowledge while contributing to sales growth, account development and customer retention.
- Variety: No two sites, customers, or project challenges are the same.
- Visibility and impact: Your work directly affects customer satisfaction, project delivery, compliance, and the company's reputation in the market.
- Career breadth: The role develops skills across project coordination, technical support, stakeholder management,
sales and construction compliance.
What you’ll do
- Act as the primary contact for subcontractors and project-coordination matters.
- Build strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate ordering, supply, project timelines, and on-site support.
- Conduct installation reviews, ensure compliance, prepare reports, and communicate findings.
- Provide technical guidance and training on correct product installation.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly; escale technical or design matters where appropriate.
- Work with internal teams to ensure accurate supply, on-time delivery, and strong customer outcomes.
- Promote products, identify opportunities, and contribute to territory growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, documentation, and project reporting.
- Achieve agreed KPIs and commercial targets.
What you’ll bring
- Strong customer-service, communication, organisation, and relationship-management skills.
- Confidence working independently in the field and managing competing priorities.
- Practical problem-solving ability and a proactive, reliable approach.
- Attention to detail, systems discipline, and accurate documentation habits.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and CRM/database skills.
- A solid safety mindset and commitment to OHS requirements and PPE.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including overnight and interstate.
You would be joining an Australian-owned manufacturer of innovative fire-rated and acoustic wall systems, with products designed and manufactured locally and used across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. If you want a role where you can get out in the field, work closely with the people who build projects and see the tangible results of your work on site, this could be the opportunity for you.
