Where you’ll be working

Join an expanding cardiology service following significant capital investment that delivers a newly constructed, state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, a Cardiac Hybrid Theatre, and a dedicated 12-bed cardiology ward. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, specialised nurses, and support staff, you will deliver comprehensive general and interventional care. This environment provides strong peer support and academic mentorship, offering the opportunity to establish clinical pathways, supervise registrars, and lead quality governance across a major regional referral hub.

Salary information

The position offers a base salary ranging from $223,136 to $282,912 per annum, supported by 12.75% employer superannuation contributions and a 17.5% leave loading. Notable package inclusions feature a professional development allowance of $22,145 per annum with 3.6 weeks of dedicated leave, alongside applicable motor vehicle, recall, on-call, and attraction incentive allowances. The total estimated package ranges from $516,487 to $564,939 per annum.

Requirements

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent. SIMG Cardiologists with substantial comparability from RACP are welcome to apply.
